As Peter's good friend and manager of his businesses (WORK & Star 69) I just want to reach out and say thank you for all the support and love everybody has given in the past few days with the announcement of Peter's health and passing.

I know nothing would have made him happier then to see the countless posts from each and every one of you recalling a memory, posting a flyer or photo with him, or posting your favorite production of his (everybody from Madonna to The Pet Shop Boys have done exactly that in the past few days).
Lots of people have reached out to us and asked about memorials, tribute etc. As far as NYC memorials go in remembrance of Peter, we're taking into consideration what Peter would have wanted and the one thing I know Peter would have wanted is for everybody to come out to Roseland not only to remember him (and his legacy), but to have a good time and enjoy the WORK experience that he had created. This is what he wanted every year and this year should be no different.
We will be producing a video tribute to him that will air at the WORK @ Roseland event (Saturday June 29th) using content we have archived as well as content submitted by the fans. So please feel free to continue to send any messages to this fan page or wall posts with old images, videos, etc. of Peter that you'd like to share. A portion of proceeds from the door @ Roseland will also be donated to the American Cancer Society in Peter Rauhofer's name. In the meantime, continue to remember Peter in your way whether it's dedicating sets to him or wearing his WORK gear out to this weekend or setting up a candlelight vigil as they are doing in Miami tonight.

I was very close to Peter and just want everybody to know and understand that at the very end, he went out on top and he went out HAPPY. He went out in a remixing blaze of glory (remixing over 20 songs in the past 14 months of his life) and even on his last original release (The Real Bitch) he used an image of a King's crown as a cover art, posthumously letting the world know that he was the King of his world. In his world, he was not only a producer whose music was respected by gay and straight DJs alike (look no further than remembrance tweets from Dubfire, Sharam, Bob Sinclar, Carl Cox, Victor Calderone, Boris, Nic Fanciulli, Laidback Luke, and countless others), but he was also an artist whose career lasted literally decades due to an un-relentless work ethic and a dedication to quality with everything he touched. It wasn't just about the music when it came to Peter Rauhofer, it was his eye for design that can be seen on every flyer and the standard of quality that was upheld with every WORK experience.

Peter Rauhofer created WORK for the fans and he spent his last living days planning every detail of this event from the theme to the line-up itself. Ultimate Champions is Peter's theme. Chus & Ceballos are Peter's picks for headliners. Everything from the staging to the dancers are his vision and I plan on doing as I have always done: execute Peter Rauhofer's vision exactly how he wanted it.

I look forward to seeing all of you at ULTIMATE CHAMPIONS on Saturday June 29th to honor and celebrate the legacy of the Ultimate Champion of them all, Peter Rauhofer.
