AIDS WALK RAISES 5 MILLION DOLLARS

"This Sunday, AIDS Walk New York raised an astounding $5,717,610 for the Gay Men's Health Crisis. To celebrate—and keep the giving spirit alive—charitable hotties sauntered over to Crimson for a post-walk party hosted by Tony Fornabaio and Brandon Voss, with DJ Theresa in the booth. We also spotted Marco Ovando and King Ralphy in the crowd, chatting up Queer Eye Jai Rodriguez and nightlifer Markus Kelleman (who was wearing signature scarlet in honor of the red-ribbon event), as well the perky lads of the Harvey Milk Men Team, who helped throw the soiree.

“This cause is so important to us because we’re getting closer to finding a cure but we’re not there yet,” Fornabaio told us, while explaining that the party's proceeds will also go to GHMC. Having walked in the first AIDS Walk more than 20 years ago, the promoter has a long history with the event and says he's seen it evolve over the years. “It started as a response to a crisis but today it is more of a celebration.
